Tuesday Tunes - Daughter - In The Shallows

While listening to my favorite music podcast last week, I was playing catchup, listening to episodes from earlier this year. I came across the South by Southwest music preview episode. Oh my, talk about amazing music! This singer songwriter immediately struck a chord with me, her haunting Feist-like voice and sad lyrics. Elena Tonra is known as Daughter.

As soon as I was done listening to the podcast, I downloaded Daughter's new EP "His Young Heart", and it was only $4 on iTunes. The song, "Landfill", below is my favorite on the EP.
